The girls and I have really enjoyed spending time outside the last few days! After a Winter trapped inside it feels so freeing and energizing to have the sun warm the skin and a fresh breeze to blow through the hair!

A Few Things

Here are some pictures I have taken with the new camera I got for Christmas. Isn't Dwight a handsome dog? The girls and I had a little bonfire on New Year's Eve and we are going to make it a tradition! We had a rock band party at Chelsea's a couple weeks ago. Maeyah has been really sick and I threw a picture in of my happy color coded closet!

What The Heck IS This???

A few months ago the wild child (Chloey Jean) was really into cramming crayons down the heat vent. I don't know how many she got down the vent and we tried to dig them out, but had difficult time reaching them since they were far down and their were nails sticking out of the wall. Well, once Winter hit and we turned the furnace on every time the heat came on we would get a good whiff of melting crayon. It was a lovely smell...... ;) A couple days ago I was doing laundry downstairs and I went into the storage room for some reason. This picture is what met me there. I freaked. I could not figure out what this object was or how it got there. It appeared to have grown out of the floor. I didn't dare get too close to it and there was no way I was going to touch it. I was sure some freaky science fictiony thing was going on and I needed to get my children out of this forsaken house NOW!
I decided to be sensible and see what Phil thought when he got home from work that night. While he thought it was weird he was not as freaked out as me and he touched it and smelled it. He discovered it was melted crayon that was dripping from the vent above. Thank you Chloey for making life an adventure.
